We got great value for our money at Esk Cottage. The room had everything we needed for a short stay, and the location was amazing, close to the river and surrounded by quiet surroundings. The staff treated us well, making us feel welcomed and at home.
The menu for breakfast could have been more varied, offering a wider selection of options.

We stayed at the charming Esk Cottage for a short break while exploring the beautiful moors and coast. The location was perfect, with a peaceful atmosphere and easy access to the train station. The cottage itself was small but well-equipped, with a lovely garden for our dog. The nearby pub, The Horseshoe Hotel, served delicious food at a reasonable price. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like biscuits and milk left for us. a homely and welcoming stay in a picturesque setting.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
